Canal D'amour

The room was spacious, though the hotel itself is old. I left because the bed was painfully hard and uncomfortable, and the shower curtain stuck to my body. That's disgusting, especially knowing it must have stuck to every guest over the years. Curtains just aren't suitable for hotel showers. The staff were friendly and helpful. They show soccer games in the bar every night, so be ready for some noise.

We loved the views from the back of Canal d'Amour hotel, looking over Canal d'Amour, with another bar and pool there too. The location worked perfectly for us, just a walk from Sidari centre. Staff were wonderful, our spacious room was cleaned daily, and we had great food and a good choice of cocktails. Infinity, the hotel bar, had a lovely atmosphere and great service. We had a brilliant holiday and will definitely return. Highly recommend it.

We had such a relaxing, lovely time in Block B during the first week of July, and can't wait to come back. The staff made us feel welcome. They're friendly and attentive without hovering, and you can tell how much they care about giving good service. Thanks to all of them for the marvellous work. The hotel has a laid-back feel, and there are plenty of sunbeds, so no need to get up early to claim one. Food and drinks were very good. The pool and bar area were immaculate, the rooms were cleaned beautifully, and towels were changed every day. There's also a nice little beach on the grounds for a calm swim, though you have to pay for beach sunbeds. The location is great, with lots of nearby bars and restaurants. The rooms are a little dated, but that didn't bother us because they were clean and well kept. Getting into the bathroom was a squeeze because of where the shower screen sits. I only managed to use the pool once, on our first day, after hurting my leg getting out. The steps are really steep and impractical, especially if you have mobility problems. I hope they can fix them before our next visit, as I've read other people struggled with those pool stairs too.

We came for the beach, not the venue. Lovely spot for a swim.
