It’s a lovely, calm town, and from the front of the villa you can walk down to the beach and rock pools. For swimming, though, the beach five minutes farther up the road is better. The kids loved exploring the safe enclosure around the villas and getting up to a bit of mischief. The villa had what we needed, including fresh towels, a washing machine and good air conditioning. There are several nice taverns and restaurants within walking distance, and the sea views are stunning. Fillipos was really helpful. We didn’t want to rent a car, so he first took us to the local supermarket to pick up supplies. That shop was a little expensive and rather grumpy, so I’d suggest asking him to take you to the Carrefour a bit farther away instead. Fresh fruit and wine were waiting for us when we arrived. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Filippos is a wonderful host, welcoming you in a kind and unpretentious way. There are two adjoining houses, each with sea views from the garden, and the setting is as charming as ever. Restaurants are just 150 meters away, with a small supermarket nearby. Each morning, the panorama is beautiful.

We were won over by the peace and quiet, and the house turned out even better in person than it looked in the photos. It’s a lovely seaside villa, tastefully furnished and very carefully maintained, with a private garden. There’s comfortable space for four, good beds, a sea view from one bedroom, and air conditioning in every room. Our host was very friendly, attentive and helpful, making us feel at ease right away. They left us a basket of fruit, wine and fresh water too. Congratulations to the owners for offering such a magnificent villa, and thank you!
