Villa Sunrise

A small stretch of beach and the sea are only a few meters away, and several good tavernas are an easy walk from this quiet, well-situated house. It’s laid out over two floors and fully equipped. Communication with the owner was friendly, simple, and very good. A great stay! 👍🏻

We loved the quiet setting and the three spots to sit, depending on the time of day and the wind. Our upstairs bedroom was especially lovely in the morning sun, and we slept better than we have in ages. The living room was cozy too. There was plenty to do and explore, so we never turned on the TVs. The apartment has two bathrooms with showers and all the kitchen equipment you need, so even in bad weather you can relax or cook for yourself. The whole place is tastefully and simply furnished, and after a week it was cleaned thoroughly and made up with fresh linens, all included in the price. On arrival, Silvia welcomed us warmly, with gifts waiting for us, and even brought extra pastries for Greek Easter. There were flowers everywhere, and we felt at home right away. We could park on the street between the apartment and the beach. The sandy beach is just across the road. We had it to ourselves, and after we cleared away some plastic that had washed up, it was perfect. Our daughter, Carmen, spent lots of time playing there. The area still shows the effects of the August 2023 fire, though I’m sure it’ll grow green again. For a meal within walking distance, try the Il Porto tavern, where the welcome and service were both so warm. We’ve never had better accommodation in Greece. Our stay at Villa Sunrise was simply perfect, and maybe we’ll come back. Thank you for everything, Silvia!
