The wedding was the heart of our ten-night stay at Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa, and the setting made it all the more special. Beautiful views, lovely surroundings, and a great atmosphere helped make those celebrations unforgettable. We made memories we’ll keep for a long time and would love to come back. There was plenty to enjoy around the resort, from the pools to the entertainment, and everything felt clean, organised, and well maintained. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with housekeeping keeping it spotless each day. At meals there was lots to choose from in the buffet and the speciality restaurants, with something new to try. The team really stood out. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and professional, and their genuine care added a lot to our holiday. We had a fantastic time and would happily recommend the resort.

Our beachfront swim-up room was a real treat. Getting up and stepping straight into the pool made the holiday feel special, and we loved the views and direct beach access. The resort is huge, so there are lots of different corners to explore, with plenty happening at the activity pool during the day. We ate well overall, though the Steak House à la carte was the highlight by far, a definite 10/10 for both food and service. Staff across the hotel were friendly, attentive, and ready to help whenever we needed something. It’s a lovely location and we had a fantastic stay at Lindos Imperial Hotel. We’d gladly return.

We went at the end of May and found it a comfortable time to visit: it wasn’t too hot, and although the sea was still cool, it was fine for swimming. The views and relaxed setting at Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa were lovely, and our spacious room was clean and comfortable. The beach is rocky, so beach shoes are a good idea for getting into the water. Meals were good, though a bit more variety would have helped, especially for a longer visit. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the hotel to couples or families looking for a restful holiday in Rhodes. Five stars!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bartenders made great drinks without skimping on the alcohol. Those were the bright spots. The rest fell well short of five-star quality, closer to a weak three-star standard in my view. Our first night was miserable. We arrived after a 4.5-hour trip at around 2:30 AM, then waited over an hour to check in, despite only about six rooms needing assignment and one receptionist moving incredibly slowly. It took roughly another hour and a half before we finally got our room. At 7 AM, drilling and hammering from renovation work started, so we couldn’t sleep after the late arrival. A terrible first impression. The room had broken tiles, missing grout, a shower that leaked constantly, and no hot water. Our friends were without hot water for a day because, apparently, it needed to be “turned on.” The public bathrooms were often dirty and poorly cleaned, especially those near the beach. Around the hotel there were visible leaks, and a proper renovation is needed. Food was poor and repetitive. The main restaurant served much the same lunch and dinner each day, and it wasn’t very tasty. The à la carte places weren’t special either; only the Asian restaurant was somewhat decent. I definitely wouldn’t come back to this hotel.

My husband and I are feeling much better now, though we’re still not fully recovered. We both became sick the day after eating at the Mexican restaurant and getting chicken nuggets at the main pool snack bar. The restaurant was difficult to book, and the steak place we wanted was closed. The Mexican meal was our worst: the meat was extremely chewy and the dessert seemed raw or undercooked. The nuggets were raw too, with blood inside, so I threw them away as soon as I noticed. Possible food poisoning on holiday needs serious attention. There were also some practical frustrations. The lobby bar lights went off around midnight, although the app says it stays open until 1am. We never saw the main pool crepes and ice cream bar open at night either. There’s a gate by the main pool that should be opened, since guests currently have to walk all the way around instead of taking the direct route. One day the water stopped while I was in the shower, apparently because the whole area had no water. There are visible leaks around the lobby and elsewhere, and the hotel could use a proper renovation. The beach and seaside were my favourite areas, much calmer and more relaxing than the pools. The buffet, on the other hand, was amazing. At every meal I found something delicious, though I’d add more summer fruit like watermelon, melon, or strawberries. The reception team were excellent, always welcoming and helpful. Agnes also deserves a big thank you: she discreetly arranged the romantic anniversary package my husband and I were each secretly trying to organise for the other. I was genuinely surprised, and it made the occasion unforgettable. The women at the main lobby bar were friendly too. In the mornings, the bartender made lovely frappes and iced lattes, and the evening bartender prepared great cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. I didn’t have a good experience with the men at the main pool bar during the day or the activity pool bar at night. When I asked for two drinks, they seemed to divide one drink between two glasses, leaving both half full. They also spoke badly about guests in their own language, and we heard swearing as we walked away. We have Greek friends, so we understood them. Their manner felt rude and unprofessional, though the other bartenders and waiters were kind, smiling, and respectful. I’d rate the hotel four stars. Most of the staff were genuinely kind, the buffet and drinks were great, and the anniversary surprise meant a lot. Without those good parts, my rating would have been much lower.
