Kiotari Beach Apartments - Studios

I booked a Twin room with a sea view because the photos showed a balcony on an upper floor with lovely views. Instead, I got the room in the picture below and no view, which was the reason I'd booked. The owner first said the photos were old, then that rooms had different prices, and then that I was actually in a better room. I can't support what feels like false advertising.

The owner was friendly, and there’s a lovely garden to sit in with morning coffee or an evening drink. The small studio was clean and cosy, close to the beach and a few nice restaurants, with a supermarket within walking distance.

Check-in time was handled very flexibly, and the room was small and cute. But cleanliness was poor. The towels had stains and were only replaced once, on day four, when the cleaner came in with the key while we were still asleep. The sheets weren’t changed during our five-day stay. For the last two days, nobody emptied the toilet bin or replaced the toilet paper, and the place wasn’t tidied up either.

The apartments are in a quiet, private spot with a very good location. Thanks for the hospitality, Dimitri. And remember to leave a tip for the very devoted cleaner.
