Galini Beach Hotel

A good value, with spacious, clean rooms and really helpful staff. The hotel sits right on the beach, and the walk to the waterfront village is short, though not especially interesting.

We had to leave reluctantly after a stay that became the highlight of our 33-day trip through Europe. The staff, including Giorgios, Gorgios, Vlada, Manolis, Antonella, and everyone else, made us feel so well cared for that the hotel will be hard to forget. They even let us settle in before the scheduled check-in time, and while we waited, coffee and a delicious piece of cake revived us. Our room was spacious, with a balcony over the ocean; we spent quiet moments there by day and fell asleep to the waves at night. Breakfast was served just steps from the sand, with a spectacular selection. The homemade cakes from the owner's family were delicious, and the waffle with homemade orange syrup was the best we've ever had.

We had a fantastic view of the beach from our balcony, and the hotel is right beside the shore. The family who owns and runs it has put together some nice amenities, and the staff clearly care about making guests comfortable. They also gave us great nearby restaurant suggestions. I’d happily recommend a stay here.

The free loungers right by the beach made it easy to spend time by the water, and there’s plenty of parking if you have a rental car. The staff also arranged a fantastic tour for us and were ready to help whenever we needed something. At reception we were met by honest, serious staff, while the breakfast team were friendly each morning. Our room at Galini Beach Hotel was roomy and well equipped, with a lovely balcony view, a very comfortable bed, and excellent cleanliness. This family-run hotel in Kissamos combines warm service with real attention to detail. We had a memorable stay and can’t wait to come back.
