Kallistefan

Everything was perfectly clean, from the rooms to the common areas. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. This hotel is ideally placed for exploring the most beautiful beaches on the west side of the island. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Breakfast had that home-cooked, grandma-took-care-of-it feeling, with something different on the buffet each day. Kallistefan is tucked into a quiet area, about 10 minutes from the beach and restaurants. The rooms are new and clean, and the staff were warm and helpful. They even helped us with our early departure. Many thanks to the whole team, we’d happily recommend it.

We’re already looking forward to going back to Kallistefan. The location is peaceful and convenient, close to the center, and breakfast by the pool had lots of options, including plenty of traditional dishes. Our room and balcony were both spacious and very clean. The hotel’s cleanliness really impressed us, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. It was the best hotel we stayed at during our Crete holiday.

The quiet was one of the best parts of our stay. Kallistefan is small and sits in a calmer part of Kissamos, away from the noisy road, but the supermarket is only about a four-minute walk away, with the beach and restaurants nearby too. Breakfast changed daily and was delicious. When we had to leave before working hours, the staff kindly offered to pack us breakfast after I asked where to leave our key card. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and cleaned every day, with fresh towels. There were flip-flops, toiletries, shower gel and shampoo, which was refilled daily. We could also borrow beach towels and an umbrella.
