Peli Hotel

A proper siga siga kind of stay. The staff were really polite, the rooms got cleaned every day, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast changed each day and gave us something different from traditional Greek cuisine to try. A great base for exploring western Greece. Definitely coming back someday.

The central location made it easy to get around Kissamos on foot, and parking was straightforward. It was peaceful too, despite being close to everything. The family-run feel came through in the warm, helpful staff, who were available around the clock. When I lost my ID, they checked the security cameras and helped me retrace my steps until I found it. I really appreciated that. During the 40°C heatwave, the strong adjustable central cooling helped me sleep well, along with the anatomical mattress. My room had just the equipment a traveler needs, with nothing missing or unnecessary. The bathroom was roomy, newly renovated and spotless. Cleanliness throughout was outstanding, better than at many five-star hotels. I stayed at Peli Hotel in late July and it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it for comfort, quality and heartfelt hospitality in Kissamos.

The pool is lovely, and there’s a bar right beside it serving a good range of food and nice cocktails. The rooms are a decent size, have the modern comforts you need, and each has its own terrace. The beach is only moments away, the supermarket is about four minutes on foot, and the town centre is around an 8-10 minute walk. I stayed at Hotel Peli with a dear friend who’s been coming for years and always talks up the property, team and pool. I can see why, I was blown away too. It’s a two-star hotel with excellent reviews on various booking sites, which says a lot about the team and Peli herself, who’s ever so charming. I’ll be back very soon.

Peli and Michalis were always smiling, and it was hard not to smile back. They put a lot into making guests feel at home and were so helpful. The breakfasts Peli's mother made were unbelievably good. It was tough to leave the table, both because we were so full and because of the sea and rocks nearby. This was the most charming, hospitable and family-friendly hotel we’ve stayed in. Every moment left us wanting more. There’s a beautiful beach close by, along with car rental and Greek shops. The town centre is seven minutes away on foot, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. One practical detail, the nearest Lidl is 30 km away along winding mountain roads.
