Tripodis Apartments

The staff were very friendly, which was the only positive for us. We booked a two-bedroom apartment for the three of us, but arrived to find a tiny one instead, and it was dirty and infested with ants. They sorted that out over the next few days. The property is a bit dated, the rooms are very spartan, and there were no closets. I won't comment on the bathroom. Cleaning happened daily, but left a lot to be desired. A clean apartment is something else. The property is outside Kissamos, so you need a car to get into town. Failed.

We were really looking forward to staying at the apartments, so I'm sorry to leave a negative review. Today the management cancelled our reservation for May 4th, saying they needed to carry out maintenance after the bad winter weather. In our view, they should have considered that well in advance, rather than leave us barely two weeks to find somewhere else. We'd already been unhappy with how slowly the management communicated and answered our questions before the cancellation. We also saw the apartments still listed online for the same dates. I absolutely wouldn't recommend booking unless you're willing to risk being left stranded.

Friendly people, a clean place, and a great base for reaching the best beaches.
