Villa Veghera

The road is fairly close, though traffic is light, and the owner was friendly and easy to reach. Inside, the rooms are large and each has a bathroom. It's a lovely spot to unwind, with wonderful views. I'd recommend it.

Michalis' mother met us when we arrived, and she was so kind and capable. The villa was spotless. We even got locked out one morning after leaving the key turned on the inside. I still had my phone, and about 15 minutes later Michalis's mother came over and got us back in. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! We spent eight nights at Villa Veghera near Kissamos and loved the huge property and its stunning view over the bay and harbor. The outdoor space is great, with a barbecue and a pool bigger than many villa pools. In June the sun reached the pool area from sunrise to about 4:30 p.m.; the lounge area stayed shaded from around 10:00 a.m. The house is spacious and laid out really well. Both the upstairs and downstairs balconies were lovely, especially the upper one for its breathtaking view. Each had seats for at least eight. The bedrooms are roomy, and the bathrooms are perfectly adequate. Kissamos is about three minutes away by car. You can walk, but I wouldn't recommend it. Follow Michalis' directions, because Google Maps and other route planners can lead you nowhere ;)

The host was more service minded than you usually find, thanks so much, Michalis! We spent a fantastic week here in the last week of May 2022. The house is lovely and large, with four bathrooms, nice terraces overlooking the water, and a good pool.

It's a very spacious villa in a wonderful location, and the owner is cheerful and helpful. We thought the place was excellent.
