Theros Retreat

We had a fantastic holiday at Theros Retreat. The pool has a beautiful view, and the room had everything we needed, including a kitchen, good air conditioning, very comfortable beds, and a Nescafé coffee machine. Andreas is a great host and was really friendly with the children. His restaurant recommendations were very good. We tried Avithos Preview and Espiredes, and also found Cavo Liakas in Spartia, which was really good too. Thank you, Andreas! Greetings from the Belgian family.

The pool and sunbeds were fantastic, and we spent most afternoons there after exploring the island. We ate out each night, with some amazing restaurants nearby. Ask Andreas for recommendations, you won’t be disappointed. We hired a car and would definitely recommend it. Finding the place was easy after a short drive from the airport. We’ve just returned from ten wonderful nights at Theros Retreat. We couldn’t fault the apartment, grounds, or pool, and Andreas and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful. Our apartment was spacious and perfectly clean, with daily cleaning. Apartment 2 had a large balcony with stunning views over the pool, grounds, mountain, and sea. We don’t usually return to the same place, but we’d definitely come back to Theros Retreat and Kefalonia. One of the best holidays we’ve ever had, if not the best. Highly recommended.

We stayed for three nights in June 24. The rooms were spacious, airy, and immaculately kept, with a large comfortable bed and an excellent shower. There’s lots of outdoor space and lovely rolling countryside views, and the pool and pool area were pristine. The host was amazing. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive until one in the morning, but he stayed up and had a sandwich ready in case we were hungry. If you want a chilled holiday, this is the place. A car is realistically essential.

Andreas is such a pleasant owner and really goes out of his way to make your stay as good as it can be. The rooms are a good size, the beds are very comfortable, and the mountain views are fabulous. The beach isn’t too far, and there’s a great restaurant in the village about 15 minutes away. What a peaceful, lovely place. Thank you, Andreas!
