ENE'S Mykonos

The pool was great to use, even in peak season. My partner and I had it to ourselves and didn’t run into anyone. The location also works well for seeing most of the island within about a 15-minute drive, depending on traffic on the main roads. The room was dirty in the corners, with dust and cobwebs, and it didn’t seem to get a deep clean between guests. There was very little cutlery, some of it sticky, and food left by the previous guests. On the second day, the owner offered us an upstairs room after seeing us watch the sunset. But the alternative was smaller and cheaper than our room, despite what we had paid. It felt like an attempt to take advantage of us. A few days later, around 5 pm, they came in to renovate without telling us beforehand. They took away the table and chairs we used for dinner, since we cooked in the kitchen every night, and replaced them with a sofa that took up half the apartment. We were left with less space and nowhere to eat. When I complained, they only said it was to improve our stay. It felt like a second time they were making a mockery of us. The complex still seems to be under construction. In the mornings, we saw them moving furniture between rooms and doing other renovations. It was a real disappointment in an otherwise fairly quiet place. For the quality of service they charge for, everything should be in good working order.

We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms are new and nicely decorated, and the place is really quiet. It’s close to several beaches as well as the city center.
