The breakfasts were incredible, and every night we had a multi-course dinner with an extensive wine list. The owners are wonderful and really go out of their way for you. This charming, very old property has been lovingly restored and still has all the amenities you could need. What a special place!

Olive grove walks or a drive both work well from this spot. We stayed three nights in early July at a lovely little hotel, with an excellent team and a very talented chef-owner.

The place is calm and peaceful, but still close enough to most beaches for an easy trip. The owners made us feel at home right from arrival, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well looked after. A cozy, pleasant stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

After long days exploring nearby towns and the coastline, our cool room at Citta Dei Nicliani felt like an oasis. We spent four wonderful nights there, and the whole family was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of tasty local delicacies, while the evening dinner was a real highlight, paired with a great wine list. We also got to chat with the owners, who were all lovely and helpful with suggestions for what to see nearby. My partner and I enjoyed the escape so much that we're talking about returning to the Mani. Places like this made our holiday so good, and we'd definitely stay here again. Review by: Max and Emily.

Breakfast was handmade, delicious, and customizable, with something different each day. We also ate dinner there, and the food was superb. Dinner is prepared on request and served only to hotel residents. The rooms are in towers dating from the 11th and 16th centuries, and the hosts were polite and gave us helpful tips about the area. There is parking, and the location is within reach of lots of beaches, we especially loved Mezapos, and about 30 minutes from Areopoli. A truly amazing experience!
