We were after a peaceful break, and the calm atmosphere at Sunrise Beach Hotel suited us well. The team were friendly and helpful, and you can tell they care about guests. Our room was simple and practical, clean, with a balcony and air conditioning, though some rooms are showing their age. The hotel sits right by the water, with lovely views over Kokkari Bay. Breakfast is basic and uses regional products, and we enjoyed it most on the terrace with that view. If you value the location and charm and aren't expecting luxury, you can have a wonderful stay here.

The team really do their best to make things comfortable, and the view is superb. Our balcony had afternoon shade, and the beach was lovely, with comfortable sunbeds. You get what you pay for. Getting around does involve quite a climb, whether you're heading up to the hotel or the restaurant. There are stairs to the town center too, so this could be difficult if you're not fit or have trouble walking.

Everything was great. Just note that a short stretch of the road isn't suitable for large vehicles.
