We arrived from another hotel for just one night, and the owner, a real gentleman, welcomed us warmly. He offered homemade lemonade right away. Like the locals, he was hospitable, warm and trustworthy. The property and room furnishings are old, but clean and in order. It’s close to the center and feels quiet and peaceful. There’s no breakfast service, and the price is reasonable.

The owner was friendly and helpful, but the hotel is very far from the beach. The sheets looked washed, yet were almost grey and stained, and the towels were the same. The facilities are very outdated. The CRT television didn’t work, and the air conditioners were inefficient. Tree branches and leaves made it hard to get to the balcony, and there were insects too.

The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were small but peaceful. Restaurants and cafes in Kokari are nearby. If you want a hostel-style place, this is the right spot.

We’ve visited five times now and will definitely come back. The Lemon House is a small, simple guesthouse with what you need: a small en-suite bathroom, refrigerator and balcony. It’s quiet and conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from both the beach and town center. We’ve rarely met such a warm and welcoming host. Already looking forward to next time!

Being just steps from the village center was the only good thing. The place was poorly maintained and the rooms weren’t clean. The bathroom was small and had no amenities, with only a bottle of dish soap provided. WiFi didn’t work, even though there were two accounts. The owner was unfriendly and rarely around.
