A peaceful spot to stay on a beautiful island.

The hosts made our trip to Samos feel extra special. Every morning they welcomed us with a warm "good morning" and poured fresh coffee. On our first day, our host enthusiastically marked the island's nicest places on a map and shared tips for renting a scooter or car. The apartment itself felt almost like a villa, and it was charmingly set right by the beach, less than a three-minute walk away. We loved the warm hospitality and the lovely people. Breakfast was excellent, especially the yogurt with mandarin jam. There was a small extra charge for air conditioning, which was fine with us and made us think twice about leaving it on all day. We're so grateful for the wonderful experience.

Lemonakia Beach is nearby, while Kokkari takes a bit of walking to reach, which we already knew. We're staying in a ground-floor apartment at Stella Bay, and the balcony is large and pleasant, overlooking an orange grove. The room has a modern renovation and a walk-in shower without a curtain. It's impeccably clean, thanks in part to the maid, who does such a careful job. This family-run place has very welcoming, friendly owners, and the service is excellent. Air conditioning costs extra, 7 euros per night this year.
