The pool area has a lovely atmosphere, and it’s easy to get to the beach and local shops. The place is affordable, and the pool is always clean. Ground floor rooms also have a small, cozy outdoor space with a table and seats, and there’s plenty of parking outside the hotel. One Sunday afternoon, the owner treated all the guests to a free barbecue, which we all really enjoyed. It’s a nice, reasonably priced place to stay for a few days on a trip, and I’d recommend it. The hotel belongs to a kind-hearted person and his lovely mother, Katerina, who started the business a long time ago and named it. She’s quite old now, but still helps out so much every day. I have huge respect for her. You can see how much she cares about the business and the guests’ experience. Katerina, thank you for your kindness. ❤️❤️❤️

The pool was clean and really useful around midday, and the rooms were clean and had air conditioning. The beach is five minutes away, a supermarket is three minutes away, and the closest restaurant is two minutes away. The location is just outside the city, but it’s easy to get in by bus or taxi. I’d definitely stay again, and hope I will.

The shower was poor quality, the mosaic tiles weren’t good, and the drain was blocked, so shower water wouldn’t go down. There wasn’t enough water pressure either. The air conditioning was only in one room, and we had to use a fan to push the cold air into the other room. The furniture and kitchenware were old, and the sheets were poor quality. There was a tiny 14-inch TV in just one bedroom. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the upstairs rooms, and when I mentioned it, they told me to go downstairs. There also weren’t enough charging outlets for three smartphones, a tablet and a power bank. The price was 30 euros a day.

The room was cheap, and now I understand why. The mattresses were old, dirty and smelled of urine. The bathroom was extremely dirty and smelled like a public toilet, and I found a ball of hair on the wardrobe from whoever had stayed there before. I had to buy cleaning products and spend six hours cleaning so we could sleep there. I also found a 5 cm cockroach hidden in a bedside drawer. I really don’t know how this property gets such good reviews on Booking.com. I even wondered if some might be fake. We had paid for two weeks in advance and there was no refund offered, so we had nowhere to go. Because of Booking.com’s policy, I felt forced to stay. If I left, I’d have to pay the owner half the amount in advance. Other reviews describe the owner as a good and polite person, but he wasn’t polite to me. I spoke with several other people there, and they were all unhappy with the conditions too. I’ve learned my lesson. You may regret staying here. In my view, Greece has no regulations or inspections for this so-called hotel/apartment. I expect this review to be reported, but I’ll fight to keep it on Google. Read all the reviews before you decide.
