Elizabeth Studios

We loved everything. The staff were so friendly, and the apartments and grounds were lovely, clean, and well cared for. The pool, bar, and dining space were beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, with tasty food and really good coffee. There’s free parking right at the complex.

The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the area was calm and clean. We could hear animals nearby, which made it feel a bit like staying on a farm. The staff were super friendly. We arrived early and could leave our luggage, and they offered early breakfast or a breakfast package for an early departure. Breakfast was generous, with a menu for the day too. It was about a 10-minute walk to the closest bus stop and 13 minutes to the beach. We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth Studio and definitely recommend it.

This is a pleasant, very clean place for a relaxing getaway away from the bustle, and we’d definitely return. The food was amazing, especially the traditional, flavourful dishes from the lovely, chatty chef. Pizza night is a must. Breakfast was delicious too, with bacon, eggs, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, juice, and coffee. The cleaners were sweet and chatty, and the pool area was lovely, with swifts flying around. We were waiting for the babies to leave their nest in the bar, and they did two days before we left. It’s a good choice if you want somewhere out of the way. The walk up from the road is no problem if you take your time. It’s flat, but watch for vehicles. We asked for a quiet room, and the staff kindly tried to give us a little chalet by itself. Unfortunately, the neighbour’s dog was caged directly behind us and barked all night at a rooster from a farm across the road. Avoid room 1 if you want quiet. The staff were lovely overall, and the owners and the main man behind the bar were friendly, smiley, and chatty. One staff member was a bit grumpy with me at breakfast, but I suppose that can happen anywhere. There’s a small shop across from the hotel, though better ones are down the road. The guitarist, Nasos, was very appreciative when we joined in and sang along. He’s a very nice guy.

The location was great, with lots of restaurants around the studio and a 10-minute walk to the bus stop for town and nearby beaches. We had a fantastic 11-day stay at Elizabeth studios with my partner. The room was lovely, had air conditioning, and was cleaned every day. The pool was lovely and there was always a sunbed available. Pizza night was really fun, and all the staff made us feel welcome. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice. We had the best holiday and would definitely stay again. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting skiathos.
