We went at the end of May, which felt like the perfect time: it wasn’t too busy or too hot. There’s a gym with a good range of machines, a supermarket across the road for bits and pieces, and the hotel is clean and tidy with friendly staff. Breakfast was great too. At the pool, the lifeguard didn’t fuss over people and let us have fun. Getting around was easy, with the bus stop right by the hotel at stop 16. There’s a lot within easy reach, including a superb pool and a beautiful beach with free loungers and water sports. We also found lots of nearby places to eat, all good quality and reasonably priced. A few small things could be improved. Parts of the rooms felt tired, and the grass outside our garden room needed some care and seed. Housekeeping didn’t replace a glass we’d accidentally broken and reported, or replenish the tea and coffee. Those aren’t big problems, but we expected them at a resort of this quality. There were plenty of mosquitoes, so bring bug spray. We’d recommend the place.

Breakfast had a huge buffet selection, plus freshly made omelets and crepes if you wanted them. The staff work so hard to make it a great holiday, and Elpida at the beach restaurant was a particularly cheerful face to see every day. We got home today after a week at Princess Resort and were sorry to leave. The team always greeted us with a smile and helped with whatever we needed. We had a superior room with a sea view, though it looked like you could see the sea from all the rooms. It was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and made beds.

The beach is beautiful, but Greece has plenty of beaches, so it didn’t make up for the cost. Some front desk and restaurant staff were really great, but there were too many little problems for me to recommend the resort at these prices. The sink drain pipe came off and made a mess, and the air conditioning broke for one night, though I guess that can happen anywhere. The playground equipment was poor despite being advertised as “high quality” on their website. Restaurant service was inconsistent too: at breakfast my coffee order was forgotten, I had to go looking for it, and then I was given the wrong order. It wasn’t an awful place, just poor value.

We had a two-bedroom suite with a private pool, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Daily cleaning was impeccable, and breakfast was included each day, with tasty food and plenty of choices. There were lots of sunbeds for guests on the beach. Renting the cabana was worth the cost for the extra shade and privacy. We loved our stay and will definitely return. The beach bar was great for snacks, drinks, and lunch, and Ammos restaurant was fantastic too, with delicious food and great cocktails. The wait staff were kind, friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations for nearby areas.

Hotel Princess is right on the beach, which made for relaxing, scenic days. We also loved the restaurant’s tasty meals and atmosphere, and the beach bar was perfect for sunny afternoons and sea breezes. Our reservation became stressful because of payment issues involving Revolut and HotelBeds. The staff handled each problem with care and professionalism, so we never felt left on our own. Everyone was warm, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Theodoros Karataglidis especially stood out to my whole family as the best hotel staff member we’ve ever met anywhere in the world. He supported us, stood up for us when it mattered, and helped turn a difficult stay into a memorable one. We’ll remember our time at Hotel Princess with gratitude and affection, and hope to return soon. Highly recommended.
