Atlantica Aegean Blue

We saw a mother cat with seven kittens hiding in the bushes by the water park, and five sibling cats hanging around the hotel's play park. The hotel has a cat house in the car park where you can leave dry food and refill the water bowl. If you visit, please feed the cats, they rely on people during the holiday season. The supermarket beside the water park and other hotel sells cat food. A 20-minute walk gets you to a busy street with shops and a larger supermarket that has more cat food. I managed to feed them every day with food bought from those shops. This was our second October half-term stay, and we loved it both times. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is lovely, and the rooms are beautiful. We had an upgraded family room without a private pool, on the second floor of the main hotel section. The food was delicious, including the wagon restaurants, and there were gluten-free options. We had fun at the water park and pools, and never struggled to find a sunbed. We stayed at the end of October 2025 and will probably return next October.

The water park was a highlight for us, with plenty of fun slides and pools for grown-ups and children alike. We stayed five full days at Atlantica Aegean Blue Resort with our two little ones, one aged three and a half and the other six months. It was perfect for a family trip. The hotel was clean, attractive, and well suited to families. There was a wide range of delicious food at each meal. The all-inclusive plan made things easy, with three good meals a day and drinks and snacks available by the pool throughout the day. There wasn't much entertainment for very young kids, which was the one small drawback, but we'd definitely love to return.

We spent most of our time by the pool near the beach. It was clean, there were plenty of sunbeds, and although there was a sign against saving beds, some people still came down early to do it. It didn't cause a problem because there were enough beds. The pool was cold at first, but pleasant once we got in and cooled us off in the hot weather. The swim-up bar was a great touch. The beach was easy to reach and kept tidy too. The restaurant was spacious, and we always found a table. There was a good choice at each meal, though ordering extra drinks sometimes took a while. The outdoor food area with burgers, pizza, noodles, and other options was a nice change when we didn't want to go to the main restaurant. Our first impression of the rooms was how clean and spacious they were. The minibar was fully stocked and kept that way throughout the holiday, and there were wraps for late arrivals. We arrived late on Saturday and were warmly welcomed at reception, checked in quickly, and directed to a pleasant selection of hot food. Staff were friendly everywhere and happy to help. Evi from the Spa was always pleasant whenever we saw her around, even though we didn't have a treatment. Nikos and Gabor, the bartenders in the main reception bar, were lovely and knew our drinks after only a couple of days. It was a very pleasant holiday, and I'd definitely recommend the hotel and go back.

The kids' entertainment team did a great job every day, keeping the children happy and busy. The bar staff were outstanding too. Thanks especially to Eleni, Maro, and Michalis for being professional and friendly. The reception team were generally very helpful, and chef Konstantinos deserves a special mention for the excellent food. We chose this family-friendly hotel for ten days in Rhodes in early October, when the weather was still good. Having stayed at many hotels around the world, I'd rate this as a solid four-star property rather than a five-star one. The rooms could be better for a hotel rated five stars. Drinks were disappointing, mostly cheap local spirits with a lot of sugar. The pools looked beautiful, but the water was extremely cold and hard to enjoy. One receptionist, Michalisa, could be more polite and professional compared with the rest of the excellent team. There were plenty of positives, but overall it was an average stay for a five-star hotel.
