Delfinia Resort

The food was nice and I never had a complaint about it. Radi at the pool bar was fab, and once he knew you, the drinks came along nicely. Sara from the animation team was extra special; she made the holiday for us, and I wish her the best of luck. The room was another story. We arrived late on the first night and it smelled of sewers, but at 2:30 in the morning we stayed put and asked to move the next day. Levi/Levon, I couldn't make out his name, moved us just two doors up. The bath was filthy with green slime and wasn't cleaned during our seven days. The shower screen was held on with silicone, sewage kept coming back up the toilet, and it wasn't ours. The curtains didn't fit the balcony doors properly, and the lights wouldn't turn off at night. I wouldn't return to this hotel.

I've stayed here three times and have another visit coming up. The staff are so friendly, and the housekeeping team are always cheerful and happy to go above and beyond. Kosmos makes the best iced coffee. I've got loads of great memories here and hope to make more on the next holiday. Delfinia, here we come!

The room was awful and looked nothing like the pictures online. The bath was disgusting, the toilet flush was broken, the towels had holes, and generally everything felt horrible. This is nowhere near a four-star hotel, in my view, maybe 1.5 stars at best. When we complained, manager Levin said he'd move us the next day, then never showed up. We lost half a day waiting. Later the “general manager” said the hotel was fully booked and told us to wait another day, when maybe he'd find something better. We saw the delay for what it was and asked our agency to switch hotels. After two days, we asked reception to refund the tax we'd paid, 10 euros per day, and wanted 50 back. They refused. We passed it to our agency because we couldn't stand the place any longer. I saw countless people shouting or complaining whenever we passed reception. A horrible experience; I'd strongly recommend staying far away.

My girlfriend and I stayed for two weeks, and we were both violently ill with food poisoning, her in the first week and me in the second. The room door lock didn't work, and neither did the bathroom plumbing. We asked to move because of these problems during the last two weeks of the season, when it was quiet and there were plenty of spare rooms, but they refused. We had a very unenjoyable stay. I wouldn't return and would recommend avoiding it.
