Fantasy Hotel

I stayed alone for three nights as an English woman and felt comfortable, welcomed and very safe. The staff, from housekeeping to the bar and dining teams, were some of the friendliest people I've met. The grounds and outdoor areas were immaculate, as was my room. There are two lovely clean pools, one deep and one shallow, two outdoor bars and plenty of loungers. All-inclusive drinks include gin, whiskey, rum, wine and beer, with lots of juice, plus tea and coffee indoors and out. My room had hot and cold water, a fast shower, fresh towels and bedding, air conditioning, a fridge, hairdryer, balcony table and chairs, double wardrobe, TV, mirrors, modern glass doors, sturdy locks, lots of space, kettle, toilet roll, soap and glasses. The mattress was a little harder than mine at home, but I slept very well. The dining room extends outdoors and has plenty of space. The food was edible and filling, with something for everyone. If you want better, pay more and go somewhere else. BBQ night was pretty awesome, and I ate more than I could finish. Breakfast had bread, jams, cereal, hot dishes and salads. Dinner changed daily. I skipped lunch, though I did have a very good piece of cake with coffee and saved another piece for the flight home. A few things people say in reviews are true and a few aren't. This isn't close to shops, nightlife or the beach: if you want those nearby, don't come here. You need a hire car or taxi; a beach taxi was about £13 for a five-minute trip one way. It's not accessible for disabled guests, with no lifts and lots of stairs, and there are no kids' clubs, flumes or entertainment. If you need it, you can ask for a ground-floor room. For me, who didn't need to shop or go to the beach, it was perfect for a relaxing break. I'd absolutely return.

The pool was good and everything was kept clean. Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help where they could. Food was OK, with enough choice for an all-you-can-eat buffet, and the drinks were much the same. The surroundings are a bit dull, so you'll need a car or scooter. You can rent a car in the hotel lobby. I'd recommend it for a casual holiday stay.

We had a lovely week at this all-inclusive hotel. The pools were beautiful and everything was clean. We especially loved seeing all the cats and kittens. The cleaning lady was super sweet, and all the staff were friendly and spoke English or German. It's a 15-minute walk to the shops. The beach is a bit far when it's hot, but we had a car and there's a shuttle bus. Food was good, with something different each day: Greek, German and English dishes, like spanakopita, German sausages and eggs with beans.

The workers were very kind and always smiling, especially Thasso, the bar waiter. Without him, the place would feel dead. The rooms, though, were a disaster, with old furniture and a terrible toilet. The food was awful too: poor quality, dry, bland and nearly the same dishes every day, just presented differently. Drinks were poor quality, and coffee was only available in the morning. For an all-inclusive hotel, that wasn't good, and it felt overpriced, not worth even 200 euros for six days. I liked the fruit, but there were only three kinds, watermelon, melon and orange. It says cakes are included in all-inclusive, but there weren't any cakes.
