Memphis Beach Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, with a supermarket around the corner and plenty of shops, restaurants, car rentals, boat trips and other activities nearby. The hotel itself is nice, clean and tidy. Our room was a good size and cleaned daily. The housekeeping ladies were very nice and helpful, though we had to ask them for fresh towels and extra toiletries. The food and dining area were the worst parts. The space felt too small for a hotel with over 120-130 rooms. During our 7-day stay, we saw the same six dishes: rice, potato and pasta, plus chicken, pork and fish. It almost seemed as if the food had been cooked once a week and reheated each day. There were no snacks between lunch and dinner, a 5-hour gap. Some cakes were served at dinner but not lunch. The only daytime alcoholic drink was very watery beer, and cocktails weren't available until after 8pm. There was no entertainment for children at the pool or in the evenings. At 11pm they switched off the lights, and it was bedtime. I can only praise the location. That might be the only reason I'd stay again, without the all-inclusive deal.

The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel was peaceful and extremely clean, the rooms and pool areas spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned six out of seven days. Unfortunately, there was no bin in our room. When I asked, we were given a black bag, which wasn't taken away during our week. The bath leaked when emptied, though we worked out we could empty it slowly. Food was average, and there were no snacks between meals despite the long gaps. On days out, we would have appreciated something to eat when we got back. After our long journey, we also weren't offered any food on arrival, unlike at other hotels. Breakfast bread had butter, but there was no butter at the other three mealtimes. When I asked, I was told it was only for breakfast. Very disappointing. The lack of snacks and food variety was the main letdown. One meal, all I could manage was a dry bun and tomatoes. This could easily be fixed. Having to pay for air-conditioning was disappointing too. Still, it was generally a lovely stay apart from the food issues.

We spent a week here in August 2025. The hotel and room were very clean, and the room was cleaned every day except Sunday. Staff were great, friendly and hardworking. The food was what I expected after staying at many all-inclusive hotels, and the staff were brilliant. You do have to pay for air conditioning 🙀, but I knew that in advance, so it didn't bother me. A very fair price for a 3* hotel in a great location. I'd definitely visit again.

The staff were really friendly and polite, especially the Albanians at the bar. The place was nice, and we had a great time 👍🏼 We'd chosen this cheaper all-inclusive because it was close to the beach. It is, though the beach itself wasn't among the better ones on Rhodes and was too rocky for my taste. Kolympia is quiet, not a party place, and there's not much to do or see there. Our room was clean and fairly spacious, with air conditioning, though you had to pay extra for it. I also don't understand why there are no mosquito nets. The food was more than decent, with themed dinners like Italian and Asian nights. Breakfast had some variety but was nothing special, except for the fresh pancakes, which were pretty cool. Alcohol was very cheap, and different drinks had set serving times. Cocktails were available after 20:30, which is what you'd expect at an all-inclusive. They did have cold beer on tap, which was good enough for me. We didn't use the clean pools because we preferred the beach and rented a car to see the island.
