If you’re offered room 512, refuse it. I was put in a hut near the hotel because they didn’t have the rooms they needed. It was like a garden storage shed converted for guests, and it was nasty, with mold everywhere, a bad smell, and water all over. The pictures and video show what I mean. When I raised this, they said the manager wasn’t there, even though he was, and claimed they couldn’t do anything because other guests needed rooms. I only got moved after someone from dertour, the agency, came and sorted it out. Don’t book here. You could lose your money and have your holiday ruined.

Our room flooded after every shower because the water wouldn’t drain, and the floor by the door stayed soaking wet every day because a drain had been badly placed. They gave us a small plastic bottle to deal with it, which we replaced with a 1L bottle that we had to empty three times a day. There were ants everywhere, too. The room was filthy and unsanitary, with mold in the shower and dirty, oxidized, unfinished door handles. The bathroom door didn’t fit its frame, so there was no privacy. It also wasn’t the room shown in the online photos, and the light kept flickering even after they said it would be fixed. We repeatedly took our complaints to reception. Each time, they said the manager wasn’t there and told us to come back at 10am the next morning. This kept happening, so it felt like they were playing a game. After we called booking.com, someone finally appeared who might have been the manager. We still don’t know, as they were evasive when we asked who the manager actually was. On day three, she offered us another room for the following day. When we went to look, there was a wasp nest above the door, so we had no confidence the room would be any better. We refused it and tried to get some money back through booking.com, but they told us to go to reception. We left it at that, since the answer to everything was always to come back the next morning, and other customers got the same response. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The doors took a lot of force to open, and dead flies stared down from the ceiling lamp. The rooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Worst place I’ve ever stayed on vacation.

Even though it’s only 100 meters from the canteen, bar, and large pool, it’s quiet and peaceful.
