Zante Plaza Hotel

Four of us spent three nights here on all inclusive. Even out of season, the place was lively, and the location worked really well. The staff were so friendly, and the chef even went out of their way to make special dishes for us. Nothing was missing. If I could, I’d give six stars. Thanks from Finland!

We’re a group of seven, four adults and three children, and all of us have had a brilliant time. The hotel is close to the airport, about 13 minutes, and the beach is a five minute walk away. It’s at the bottom of the strip, but even our two front rooms stayed quiet and we slept well every night. The rooms were great, the drinks weren’t watered down, and the cocktails were lovely. The food has been the best I’ve had abroad, and I’ve travelled to lots of countries. Staff are brilliant and so friendly, nothing seems like a problem for them. I especially enjoyed chatting with them. Orestis, Litsa,Evie, thanks for making the holiday so comfortable. We’ll definitely come back, I’m already trying to arrange another trip with just my adult sons.

We were checked in and shown to our room within 15 minutes of arriving, even with a queue at reception. The welcome and service were excellent. Staff in both the restaurant and bar were polite, friendly, and quick to help. There was something different to eat each day, with international choices and tasty Greek dishes to try. The hotel bar shuts at 11pm, but there are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants just outside, since it’s at the lower end of the Laganas strip. A nice balance of downtime and nightlife, with a team that really looks after you. Highly recommended.

Our family of five stayed from 27th July - 3rd August. The hotel is lovely, the staff are kind and welcoming, and there was lots of delicious food to choose from. They even change the cuisine each day. I believe you can order drinks from the bar without a limit between 11:00 and 23:00, and there’s drinking water and sweet juices available 24/7. The issue for us was the setting. Laganas gets very wild at night, so I’d choose somewhere calmer for a family that doesn’t want to party every day. Our room wasn’t particularly noisy, but some young guests, especially Brits, were loud even during the day and seemed unaware of people around them. The pool could be lovely, but it’s not that big, and youngsters were constantly throwing a ball around at full speed without caring about others. In a quieter area like Tsilivi or Kalamaki, this hotel would be much more enjoyable. That said, it’s not the hotel’s fault, and if you plan to explore the island instead of hanging around the pool, it’s a good choice. Hotel 10/10 Brits staying there 1/10
