Dimitra Apartments

The view across Daphnila Bay from the terrace was stunning. I spent hours out there taking photos. We stayed for nine nights as a family, and loved having an apartment above the restaurant with everything we needed. Dimitra runs the place with so much charm and energy, and Eleni was helpful and cooked wonderfully. Daphnila Beach below is easy to reach, though it’s practically reserved for Grecotel, so we went out to explore Corfu’s other beautiful beaches. With a car, the location made it possible to get around the island, from Acharavi, about 40 minutes away, to Issos, around an hour. I’d love to come back someday.

The view over the beach was fantastic, and everything was clean. We liked our two-night stay so much that we added another night, especially at that price. The ladies were lovely and spoke English well. One thing to keep in mind, it’s better to have cash for the market and restaurant.

A strange experience at the mini market. They wouldn’t sell to us when we tried to pay by card, even though their card terminal was working. I’m leaving four stars out of decency because I don’t want to harm their reputation, and I can’t speak to the apartments since we didn’t stay in them.

The view is spectacular, and the hospitality and food were both the best. Thanks, Dimitra and Helena. Two thumbs up!
