Telesilla Hotel

We were at Hotel Telesilla for four nights at the end of September for my bachelorette party, and it was absolutely perfect. The team, especially Thomas, George, and the rest of the staff, made the trip. They were welcoming, funny, and caring, and it really felt like we were one big family. I can't recommend the hotel enough. We arrived around 11pm, just as the kitchen was about to close. The F&B team kindly offered to make little starters from what they had left, which was perfect for us. Thomas greeted us and checked that we were happy with the food and drinks. He made us feel right at home. The food was so good that after a full day at the beach, we came back to the hotel for dinner the next night. The team had secretly planned a little table surprise with my bridal party. It was lovely, and you could tell how much thought and care had gone into it. The other nights were fantastic too. Thank you all for making my bachelorette so memorable and wonderful. You made us laugh, cooked incredible food, and made delicious drinks. Shout out to the kitchen team, and to everyone who made the peach pleasure cocktail. We still think about it! You made us feel so welcome and loved. You're the best, and we hope to see you next year! We stayed at Telesilla Hotel in July/August and had a wonderful time. It's clean and well maintained, breakfast was delicious, and the service was great. The rooms aren't very large, but they were comfortable and perfectly fine for our stay. Thanos at reception, the man with the bun, deserves a special thank you. He took the time to tell us about special places on the island and helped plan our itinerary. He was always polite, keen to hear what we'd been up to, and genuinely happy to help. His good intentions felt heartfelt, and he clearly enjoys his work. Thanks to him, we discovered Corfu in the best possible way. The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable short stay, and the air conditioning worked well. With the heat, it was the only way I could sleep at night. My room was cleaned daily, and the staff were attentive and happy to help. I was worried the road might be noisy at night, but it wasn't as bad as I'd expected, especially with the windows closed. There's a bus stop five minutes away, and an attached restaurant serving excellent Greek food. I stayed four nights and honestly wish I'd stayed longer. I'd definitely consider coming back to Corfu and staying here again.

The bus stop is right by the hotel entrance, and getting around was affordable for us, just 50 euros for two people for the week. Line 7 gets you here from Corfu in about 15-20 minutes, and the Green Bus to Paleokastritsa takes only 30 minutes. The location could be better, though. Breakfast was 15 euros per person, with a big variety and pretty good food. We had dinner at the restaurant once, and both the service and food were amazing. The downsides were the basic, outdated rooms, very poor Wi-Fi that didn't even reach 1mb/s, and especially the bar music. It played nonstop from the morning until 12-1AM and was really loud in our room at night. Average at best.
