Did anyone come here because of the HMHS brittanic sinking lication?

The hosts were really kind and friendly, and the rooms were nice.

The rooms are cramped, the layout feels unwelcoming, and cleanliness and hygiene were poor. Still, it's the cheapest place in Kea for a night's sleep, though even so it feels overpriced for the amenities.

We found this place only after reaching the island, since we hadn't booked anywhere and it was the sole hotel with a room available. We saw its availability listed on a paper at the port and booked from there. At the hotel, a kind gentleman told us payment was required upfront. The room was quite spacious and nice, and conveniently close to the port, a supermarket, and a coffee shop. But it came with several tiny roommates: when we switched on the lights, small cockroaches scattered into the closet. We chased them around trying to kill them, like a video game where whoever got the most would fall asleep first. We left the air conditioning at 21 degrees and went for dinner. When we came back, it was just my husband and me, and thankfully it stayed that way until we left. We asked if we could check out later. The gentleman said we would need to speak to his brother, which meant getting up early to find him. Since I was on vacation without kids, dogs, or cats, I chose to sleep a little longer instead. We packed up and wandered around Kea until the afternoon boat. For a room without breakfast, I think the 70€ he charged was enough.
