1-bedroom Kos Olympia Apartment

My girlfriend and I visited the lovely island of Kos, and Kostas welcomed us personally and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The staff are sociable and very helpful. Konstantinos even let me use his private gym on Sunday, when all the other gyms were closed. Hope to see you again in the future!

We spent a few nights here in August. It's affordable and close to the sea. The location is a little out of the way, but the city is still nearby by bike or scooter, and they rent bikes here. The staff were friendly enough, though not as service-minded as others we've met. The rooms were pretty bad. Our floor was dirty and sticky, and clearly wasn't being cleaned properly. The kitchen dishes were dirty too, and there was no dish soap or sponge, so we had to buy some at a supermarket the day after arriving and wash everything in the cupboard. The toilet leaked, and flushing made the whole bathroom smell like sewage. There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms, only at the bar and pool. Air conditioning also cost an extra €5 per night. That charge wasn't listed on AirBnB and was only mentioned when we were shown to our room. You can probably find a better place for the same price, or just a little more.

Really like it here. The apartments are basic, but there's a great pool and a bar serving drinks and food. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a quiet spot outside the city center, which is perfect if you want a more peaceful holiday.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. They need to pay attention to hygiene and stop scamming people. Shame on the family running it. The woman at reception had no respect or honor. They lied to us: we showed them the booking summary on the website, which said air conditioning and toilets were included, but even after seeing it, they refused to accept that. There are plenty of other hotels, including better and cheaper ones in the city center. You'll otherwise keep paying for taxis to get places, so staying in town makes more sense. There were also dogs near the hotel, which didn't feel safe.
