Melia Villa Kos

Maria kept the Villa clean throughout and made sure our children had what they needed. It's very well equipped, and the hosts were accommodating from the start: they met us on arrival and arranged to transfer our luggage from the airport. When the electrics failed, we contacted the owner and an electrician arrived within 30 minutes. For Kos, where the odd power cut is known to happen, that was fantastic. We were organising a first trip here with our 5-month-old, 3-year-old, two parents and two 85-year-old aunties, after visiting Kos for over 18 years. The Villa absolutely lived up to our hopes. It's the nicest and cleanest one we've stayed in across all those years. The location is great, with a brisk walk into town and Kos Town and a car park close by. We can't recommend Villa Melia highly enough, and we'll book again soon.

We spent ten nights at Villa Melia as a family of nine, including children, and would gladly return. The villa is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with high-standard furnishings, a superb pool area and even a HOT TUB. Kos town is a five-minute drive away, and the setting is nice and quiet. The views were lovely, especially in the evenings when we watched the sun go down over pre-dinner drinks. Kallia and Maria were wonderful hosts. They had freshly baked biscuits and pastries waiting when we arrived and were so accommodating throughout. Thanks to both of you for looking after us!

We really enjoyed our two weeks at Melia Villa Kos and would highly recommend it. We were four adults and four kids aged 9 and 11. Booking was easy, and our questions were answered quickly. Kallia met us at the villa, showed us around and was available if we needed anything. It’s a clean, modern place with everything we needed, including table football and a PlayStation for the kids. There was food, drinks and wine on arrival, a welcome touch since we got in on Sunday when the supermarkets were closed. Maria took great care of us, cleaning and changing towels and linen several times, and bringing cakes and pastries. The pool and hot tub were checked and cleaned regularly. The pool isn't heated, and with the chilly weather at the end of May and start of June, it was pretty cold. We didn't use it as much as we'd have liked, but the hot tub got plenty of use. The villa is in a semi-rural spot next to an army base, though there was no noise or disturbance. Kos town is around a 30-minute walk, or about five minutes by car to a car park on the edge of town, then a walk the rest of the way. The closest decent sandy beach we found was Tigaki, about a 20-minute drive. I'd definitely hire a car.

Kallia met us when we arrived and was very helpful, even though our flight had been delayed. She was on hand if we needed anything. The villa was beautiful, quiet and just a few minutes from Kos town. It was comfortable, well kept and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We couldn't fault it.
