Atlantida Hotel

The receptionist was very nice and helpful, and the location was good. But our room was described as a “superior quadruple room with a balcony with sea views,” and what we got was definitely not a sea view. The pictures showed the sea, so I felt cheated. I would have paid more for a real view and felt less misled. The room itself was very basic, more like a hostel or a bad dorm room, but I expected that part, so it was OK. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location is perfect, and I'd recommend it 10/10. The hotel was super clean, the rooms were in good condition, and the staff, especially the receptionist, were really friendly. I was very happy with this accommodation. Don't believe the negative reviews, they must be old.

We were able to check out late, so on my last day I could go for a morning run, take a swim, and relax by the pool before catching my ferry. The pool area and the view were great, and it's pretty close to restaurants and bars. They also picked me up from the ferry for free. The staff were very friendly, and the price was superb for the value.

The view from our supposed sea view room was apartments, not the sea. I felt tricked and taken advantage of, and the stay was inconvenient. I paid less for oceanfront rooms in Little Venice, Mykonos Hora and Super Paradise beach, Mykonos, during high season, and those places had breakfast and incredible facilities. This overpriced motel didn't feel like the Greek hospitality I'm used to, despite my having travelled full time and visited about 60 countries. The owners cut too many corners on facilities. There's no water or coffee at the hotel, so you have to walk to town for coffee and walk 10 minutes for potable water. The old rooms smell bad. In the new wing, we could hear children whining and their morning cartoons through multiple walls. The toilet paper was wet because the foot washing station above my bathroom window sprayed water and people's foot water all over my things. Yuk. Warn me that I need to hike water in.
