The staff went above and beyond after I left my sunglasses on the table. My husband called while we were already on the ferry back to Amorgos, and they packed them up and sent them on the ferry the next day. That's Greece and Greek people for you, always caring and kind! The meal was excellent too. We came looking for lamb chops and found them juicy and crisp. The beetroot salad and local cheese are a must try. Thanks for the lovely food and service!

The room was clean and in Chora, but it was an ordinary room at a really inflated price. I don't think a room like that should cost what a 4-star hotel does. I also found the contact with the owner strange. On my departure day, all I heard was, "Where is the key?" That's not what I'm used to from the Greek islands, and I've visited most of the Cyclades.

The rooms are basic, but they cover what you need in a seaside town. The town beach is less than a five minute walk away, and you're right among the restaurants. They can also take you to and from the pier, though it isn't far. A kettle and toaster in the rooms would be small additions with a lot of value. The taverna has a lovely atmosphere, including tables sheltered from the evening wind, and the food is utterly delicious. I had the Briam (vegetables) and aubergine shoe. Don't miss the eggplant dish, with its bechamel notes, perfectly cooked mince and signature creamy topping. Bring friends so you can try more dishes. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This is only about the taverna. We ate here two years ago and the food was excellent, so it was a pity to find the quality had gone downhill. The green beans were limp, watery and tasteless. The stuffed tomato was dry inside, and the lemon chicken had no flavor. I hope they get the food back to the quality it had before.
