Nysis Koufonisia

Maria made Nysis feel less like a hotel and more like home. She was warm and welcoming, but also impressively efficient and professional. Her restaurant suggestions were spot on, she arranged smooth transfers, made the best iced coffees, and shared lovely conversations over breakfast. Her hospitality really lifted our stay. My partner and I stayed twice in September, for nine nights altogether. The rooms were private, very comfortable, and beautifully designed in warm, minimalist tones that felt calm and serene. Housekeeping was flawless and the whole property immaculate. The pool and bar area was carefully landscaped and a lovely place to relax. It was a wonderful stay from beginning to end.

Breakfast was one of our favorite parts of the stay. We could order ahead from choices like omelettes, eggs, yoghurt with honey, fresh fruit, and coffee or tea. The Greek coffee and Freddo Cappuccino were excellent, and we could eat by the pool or have a big basket delivered to our room at the time we wanted. The team, especially Panayioti, Maria, and Irini, were kind, thoughtful, and generous, making us feel very welcome. We spent three nights in late September 2025 for our honeymoon, and loved every moment. The superior suites on the top floor have private balconies and wide ocean views, lovely for spending time together. Some other rooms look out over the town and its sunsets. The rooms are beautiful, with Korres toiletries, comfortable beds, and cold bottled water in the fridge. There's also a saltwater pool where you can watch the sunset. The team surprised us with two small bottles of sparkling wine and a reusable beach bag, a lovely touch. Nysis felt warm and heavenly, and we hope to return one day. Thank you.

Maria, the manager, was fantastic and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. Her dinner suggestions at the local restaurants were all perfect. The breakfast was sublime, with a basket full of every breakfast favorite we could imagine. Our room was gorgeous, the bed extremely comfortable, and it was very quiet. Town, one of the prettiest Greek villages we've seen, is a short stroll away, as are the beaches with their sandy aqua waters. We loved everything about this wonderful hotel and can't wait to return.

We liked being able to order ahead and have it brought to our room wherever we wanted, which made mornings easy. The staff were attentive, always available, and genuinely helpful throughout our five-night stay at Nysis in September. The rooms and outdoor spaces were spotless and beautifully kept. The pool is a peaceful place to relax with a refreshing cocktail, and the hotel has elegant, minimalist architecture and a wide range of amenities. We highly recommend Nysis for a calm, high-quality holiday, and are already planning a longer visit next year. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable stay.
