We only stayed one night, and left regretting it. The owner had been pleasant until we politely explained we needed to leave the following day. Then his attitude changed completely. He was rude and didn’t offer us a lift to the port, even though the place is far away and the unpaved road is difficult with luggage. We also had to make a special trip to the port to pay him. It felt very unprofessional. The rooms are basic and the location is a bit far from everything. If your plans change or you simply aren’t happy there, you may find yourself dealing with a very different owner. Koufonisia is beautiful and has other places with nicer accommodation and views. I wouldn’t risk a repeat of this experience. They don’t seem to know how to treat customers professionally.

Our ferry to Koufonisia was cancelled because of strong winds and bad weather. No ferries were going to the island that day, and the hotel knew we couldn’t get there because of the emergency. Even so, the owners refused to cancel our booking and charged us the full price for the entire stay. Unbelievable. They were so rude and greedy.

The staff were so helpful and went out of their way for us. The facilities were clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We stayed in a double decker room, and the location was great.

We’ll be back. The owner was always helpful, the staff were friendly, and the place was clean. It’s in a great spot with a wide open view, too. A wonderful place for a holiday we’ll remember!

Nothing about the place appealed to me. The customer service was awful, and 40 euros a night in the off season definitely wasn’t worth it. Lol.
