Petros Rooms

The owner’s manner was brusque and direct, which may suit some people, but he should have kept the arrangement he made with us. For several days, including at breakfast on the morning we were checking out, he said we could leave our luggage until 5 pm and that he would drive us to the port then. We also asked about somewhere to take a quick shower before leaving. His only suggestion was to rent a room for the whole day, which we politely declined because we didn’t need that. At 11:30, he suddenly and rather rudely told us to put our bags in the car, then dropped us at the port hours earlier than agreed without explanation. We found another solution, but the behavior was unprofessional and simply not right. The room matched its description and seemed recently renovated, and it was quiet at night. We could check in an hour early and check out 30 minutes late, though this was repeatedly presented as a huge favor. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. Breakfast was very limited, with extras charged, including 3 euros for cappuccino. The espresso price was unclear. The location wasn’t convenient, about 15 minutes from the beach and longer to town unless you took an unpleasant shortcut. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but the rating seems overrated.

The sky turned amazing colors at sunset, and seeing the moon above Keros from the room’s private balcony is a memory I won’t forget. The sea view and peaceful evenings made it easy to relax. Petros Rooms has rooms that blend Cycladic charm with modern comfort, beautifully designed and spotless. Mr. Petros, Mrs. Zoe, and their daughters Ioanna and Despoina were warm and attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome. The beaches and village center are just a short walk away. It’s a lovely retreat for anyone looking for quiet and the beauty of the island. I can’t wait to return. Thank you for everything!

The room was too small and too expensive, with basic features but good sleep equipment. The price didn’t match the service. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the bars and taverns, so not close to the village, though the sea views are nice.

My friend booked the room by phone, and Mr Petros agreed to give it to us for five days. Just a few hours later, he gave it to someone else without telling us. I’d already booked my flight from London to Greece, so in the end I had to spend much more money for no reason. Mr Petros was incredibly rude, and I’m really disappointed by his behavior. I wouldn’t recommend this room because the owner is so unreliable. I’m sorry.
