The room looked lovely, but I found the lighting awkward. There were no bedside lamps, so I had to choose between switching on nearly every light or sitting in complete darkness. The bathroom also wasn’t very practical. Water ended up everywhere after a shower, and over our two-night stay no one cleaned the room. The used bath mat was left there, the empty soap box stayed empty, and the opened shower gels weren’t replaced. Breakfast had a good selection, although there weren’t many hot choices. The first morning there were fried eggs, and the next morning it looked like an egg and potato fritter. I was given decaf coffee without any fuss on day one, but on the second morning I was told they didn’t offer decaf. When I called ahead, I asked in the little Greek I know whether the woman spoke English. She said no, so I tried to manage in Greek. Then when I arrived, she spoke basic English, which confused me a bit. I was also surprised that booking directly cost exactly the same as booking through Booking.com. Not the best, not the worst.

The receptionist was extremely rude on the phone this morning, 12/7/23 during the morning hours. If they have no manners, they should work somewhere else. Because of that attitude, we cancelled our group’s one-week stay and told friends who were planning to book with us to look elsewhere. Luckily, they found another nearby hotel with a polite receptionist and enough rooms for us, our family, and friends for a week, since we wanted to extend our stay. Avoid this place at all costs. Businesses like this don’t deserve support.

The hotel is close to the ship terminal, and you can walk there. The bed was great, and I slept well last night. The air conditioner worked well, too. We’re here for two days and didn’t bring much luggage. The shower and bathroom are small.

We stayed for four winter days because of bad weather, and the service was top standard. The hotel was clean, the beds and sheets were really good quality, and the staff helped us with everything. Breakfast was generous, and the room was nicely heated, which was a real plus in winter. I’d add a bit of color to break up all the white. We were happy with the whole stay and would come back.

The hotel is in a perfect spot and was clean and nice. The owner was such a nice person. We were lucky enough to be the first guests in a newly refurbished room, and it was breathtaking. Loved it.
