Creta Blue Boutique Hotel & Suites

The one real downside was the noise through the walls in the accommodation blocks. We could hear what our neighbours were doing and were woken at 2:00 am each morning by people upstairs taking showers. Otherwise, we loved our week here. Our ground-floor suite was clean and everything worked, and the pool, restaurant and reception areas were all great. The staff were great, the restaurant food is worth recommending, and there’s a great wine list. The little cats wandering around were lovely too.

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our babymoon in Crete. From the minute we arrived, Georgios and the team made us feel like part of their family. We were even welcomed into Georgios’ family celebrations for Easter and Easter Monday, which let us see how Greeks celebrate and made the stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return. Everything was so well cared for. Our spacious room was spotless, with fresh towels every day. The pool was beautiful and clean, with plenty of space between loungers and a peaceful feel. At the restaurant, the food was fresh and clearly made with care and attention to flavour. Breakfast was great too, especially the Nutella pancakes, definitely worth trying. The whole team were incredibly friendly and treated us like family. For us, the rooms and pool were 10/10, the restaurant and breakfast 10/10, and the staff and service 12/10.

We had a fantastic time, and the team were so lovely and incredible. The half-board restaurant was unbelievable, really, really good, and the cocktails were great too. The food was the real highlight for us. We’ve never had dining of this quality with a half-board arrangement before. The hotel is set up high, with gorgeous sea views, and it’s a lovely place to relax. A car would be useful for getting out to nearby beaches. It’s a beautifully designed boutique hotel with stunning views. The rooms have all the essentials, though they aren’t especially spacious. Service was excellent throughout, from room service and the waitstaff to the management, and we felt welcome and at ease the whole time. A better coffee machine would be welcome, since the coffee doesn’t meet the high standard of the food and wine. A bit more breakfast variety would be nice too. We had a wonderful stay and send our heartfelt thanks to the whole team.
