A good choice for a quiet sunny break. The town has no tourist shops, but there's a good range of cafes, Tavernas and mini markets. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is lovely, more like a four star place, with two nice pools and plenty of sun beds. The beach has sand and pebbles, but it's fine with beach shoes, and the sea is great for snorkeling.

We were there right at the end of the season, but the service was still warm and friendly, like it was their first day. There were very few people, yet the pools were full, there were beach chairs, and breakfast was sumptuous. We wished we'd booked two nights.

The renovated rooms were nice, and the service staff were extremely polite, but the price still wasn't justified. The lack of soundproofing was striking, and the cleaning felt superficial and inadequate. There wasn't even a bottle of water in the fridge. It also seemed that small children weren't welcome: even the slightest noise brought a comment, including at a time that wasn't meant to be quiet. In our case, there wasn't even a legitimate reason for it. If that's their preference, they could make the place adults-only.

The rooms are spacious and modern, with lovely design and big balconies, and the whole place is exceptionally clean. The hotel sits right on the beach and has two beautifully maintained pools. Staff were lovely, smiling from the morning, and the food was great, especially breakfast. I'm back from the South Coast and delighted. I'll definitely return, maybe even this year. We had the most amazing time at this beautiful family-run hotel. Ionna, the owner, was kind and friendly from the start and made us feel like family, taking such good care of us. She was very accommodating, and the hotel, pool and services were all kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
