We arrived to find our room still dirty, and the bathroom was in awful shape. Air conditioning also costs extra. At night, planes overhead and a barking dog nearby made it impossible to sleep. Dinner was meant to be available from 6 to 8 pm, but by 7 there was nothing left, so we had to eat at a nearby restaurant. Breakfast was poor too: on two mornings we got only an egg and a sandwich. We received yogurt the following day only after asking. A very disappointing stay.

The electricity cut out several times a day, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly. The fridge was affected too. The safe wasn’t fixed in place, so it could simply be lifted out. The owner charged double for the air conditioning and tourist tax, which seemed like a scam, and there was dirt and cockroaches around. The owner was arrogant, impudent and rude, with behavior that made this feel like a Greek tragedy. Staying here felt like pure survival, an extreme experience. Breakfast food was served for dinner. There are no words... The cleaning ladies did bring clean towels. Even though you tried to ruin our holiday, we had a great time watching your old man's antics. Navarone Commandos. A quick tip: leave NO valuables in the room. The air conditioner can be switched on manually from the control panel. EDIT: After the owner's deceptive response, I added a few photos. Perhaps you'd still like to see the reservation?

The location is convenient for getting to Rhodes Town by bus, and Kremasti itself is pleasant, though small and a bit boring. You need a car to see the island's beauty. Planes fly directly over the accommodation on their way to the airport. They might disturb some people or wake children, but they didn’t bother me. The room was acceptable and clean. Towels were changed fairly often when needed, and the cleaning lady did her job well and was always respectful. I was satisfied with her work. The food, though, was bad and old. There were three kinds of salami and some cheese that weren’t fresh. The watermelon mixed in with fresher pieces tasted rancid, like leftovers from days earlier, and the choice was limited. One morning I peeled a boiled egg and it smelled awful, as if it had hatched. I regret not making a fuss. Dinner was fine, but I’m sure it was bought from a local restaurant and served at the table. The gentleman at reception wasn’t very polite either. My English isn’t very good, and he seems to carry a scythe. I don’t recommend this place. Here's the response: You seem to have wandered from the reception desk into a circus ring. From the way you handle reviews, I can only imagine the stars your guests see after talking with the owner. Best of luck. Your establishment could use a big sign saying, "No entry for common sense!" Thank you for the warm hospitality and the culinary geography lesson. It’s reassuring that a boiled egg can have such a profound history, almost hatched. I understand keeping watermelon fresh can be a logistical challenge, so congratulations on preserving traditions from the Bronze Age. Glad the evening meal was fine, though. I’m sure it came from a local restaurant and was served with plenty of "love." You must have picked the finest ingredients in the area! The cleaning lady was very kind and efficient, and I remain satisfied with the cleanliness. We didn’t come for luxury, but we did expect fresh food and a minimum of respect. I’m sorry if my presence offended you. I console myself by thinking that the "reviews sent from the same country" could make a solid community. Maybe we could arrange a themed meeting: "How Not to Let the Food Eat You." I like to think I’m a cute animal too, just like the tourists you call that when they disagree with their experience. Maybe I’m not as “loud” and “rude” as others, but I’m honest enough to make the observations you need. I wish you the best, and hope the scythe at reception is well maintained. You never know when another lost tourist might come asking for fresh eggs.

I’ve never stayed somewhere this dirty, and I’d give it -100 if I could. Bugs were everywhere, the room and bathroom were moldy, the towels stained, and the bathroom smelled of mold. The owner was rude and insulted people. He charged 56 euros for seven days of AC, then told us to use it sparingly because the power bill was huge. He even spied on us to see whether we turned off the lights. Hotel meals were cooked at reception and left uncovered in the sun for hours. Reception wasn’t open around the clock. It really wasn’t a three-star hotel, and we felt unsafe.

The room had a good sized TV, comfortable beds and a huge shower. It was spacious too, and the location was quiet. There was a kettle, tea and coffee, plus a fridge. A helpful chap greeted me, arranged my morning taxi and even had pizza delivered to my room. I can’t fault the place and would definitely recommend it.
