Right on the water, Seashore Villa really is one of a kind. We loved the stunning beach, the crystal-clear water, and how peaceful it all was. The comfort, quality, and elegant touches made this one of our most luxurious stays. We made unforgettable memories and will definitely be back!

The setting at Seashore Villa is magical. With the sea gently lapping nearby and so much tranquility, we had one of the most serene and relaxing holidays I’ve ever had. The villa was comfortable and well equipped. The management, though, let the property down. Before arriving, I sent Paraskevi several WhatsApp messages and emails asking for local advice and for the air conditioning to be switched on because we’d arrive late. None got a reply. The only information we received was a generic web link. It was useful in some ways, but much of it was out of date. When we arrived, the villa was like a sauna and we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work. We called Paraskevi, who seemed blisteringly uninterested and said it had worked the previous week, so it must be fine. Luckily, we had Google and a teenager. He eventually worked out that the timer needed resetting, and then the air conditioning worked. It took five hours to cool the villa, though, so our first night was very uncomfortable. It’s a real pity that such a beautiful property was let down by a lazy agent. What would it cost to check that everything is all right a few hours before guests arrive? Leaving a few dishwasher tablets and bin liners, and switching on the air conditioning, would make a world of difference.

We were looking for quiet, and this villa gave us plenty of it. Staff came by now and then to clean the pool, and everyone was pleasant. The design is sleek and minimalist, all white, and when we visited in August 2020 it felt almost new and was spotless. The kids were happy with the smart TVs and music system, and the air-con and Wi-Fi worked well. The beach is right through the back gate, about a 30-second walk to the sea. I often had roughly two miles of beach to myself in the mornings. It’s rocky and hard to walk on, so bring rock shoes or old trainers; it may not suit children that well. There’s just one villa next door and nobody overlooks you. Mea Terra was the only nearby place we could walk to, and we spent our last day there, hiring sunbeds, using the changing rooms, and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and food. The supermarket is about a 10-minute drive, which was manageable. We booked at the last minute after our previous holiday was cancelled because of coronavirus. We thought we’d be happy if the villa matched even half its photos, but it was better than we expected. It wasn’t cheap, though it was the best-looking villa we’d seen in such a quiet spot.

Gennadi is about 11 km away, with a supermarket that had everything we needed, a couple of good restaurants, and a bakery with amazing baklava, strawberry tarts, and lemon meringue pie. The villa itself is remote, which suited us, and was clean, bright, and wonderful. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a dishwasher and washing machine. We came with our son, daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters. The pool was cold at first, but once you got in it was fine. I’d definitely recommend this place. Thank you, Rhodes.

The villa and service were even better than we’d hoped, and I can only recommend it. There’s lots of outdoor space, with beautiful views and lovely sunsets and sunrises.
