Aggeliki Studios

We loved our two weeks here last August (2016), me and my little boy. It feels peaceful, with lovely views across the olive groves, even though the strip and beach are close by. I was unsure about staying near the strip with a small child, but we had no problems at all. The neighbors were friendly, a mix of ages, and some had kids too. Our room was bright, airy and cozy, with three balconies, which was fab. There are loungers downstairs and a nice garden area, with a few hens around. The beds were comfortable, and I work online, so I was relieved that the internet never let me down. The kitchen had what we needed, and we ate in quite a bit because our budget was tight. There are plenty of places nearby with great gyros for just a couple of euros, plus a supermarket five minutes away on foot. A big Lidl is a short taxi ride away and much cheaper. The guys who run the place were really helpful. On our first night I had to call very late because, being thick, I couldn't work the aircon. One of them came over to sort it out and didn't seem bothered by the late call at all. The woman who cleaned our room was lovely too. My boy broke a few glasses, I think about three, and she just laughed, said she had kids too, and replaced them without a fuss. There was enough parking for everyone. If you want a swim, there are lots of pools nearby that you can use, including one right across the road and others just off the strip that are nice and quiet. I've stayed in lots of apartments on holiday, and these are the sort I'd choose again every time. The year before, I spent a lot staying at the Majestic with my daughter, but I much preferred Aggeliki (also called Angeliki) Studios and its relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
