The location is right by the beach, but the surrounding area didn’t feel very nice or well kept. The entrance smelled of rubbish and waste and was in a pretty poor state. In the bathroom, there’s no shower curtain or screen, so everything gets wet, and the shower is so tiny you can barely turn around. The rooms are very basic, which I suppose is fair for the price, but paying another £5 a day for air conditioning is ridiculous. The all-inclusive offering was basic too. Breakfast was the same every day, and there wasn’t much to it. The lunch and dinner menu was limited and didn’t change during our stay. Food from the shops was a better option, and service was practically nonexistent. My biggest issue was how the staff treated us. Some of our family stayed here, while the rest of us rented a nearby Airbnb, and the difference was stark. The people staying at this hotel were treated disrespectfully, and other customers always seemed to come first, even when we were there together as family. It felt as if the staff saw them as a nuisance. They couldn’t rent sunbeds because they were told they were reserved, while I was allowed to use them because I was staying elsewhere. I don’t know if they assumed hotel guests had less money and chose to favor other customers, but the way they were treated disgusted me. We had an Airbnb six minutes away on foot, still close to the beach, and the price difference was minimal. We were treated with the utmost respect there, and everything was handled politely and warmly. Honestly, I’d avoid this place and spend the money elsewhere.
