Laganas Dreams

Good staff and good value. The strip's only a five-minute walk away.

Don't book this place in Laganas. It's close to the center, which might suit someone too wasted to walk far back before collapsing. There's no kitchen, the pillows are ridiculously soft, and the shower water stays cold, like it came from the Atlantic. They even charge for air conditioning when it's scorching outside, like Marrakech, unless you want to dry out without it. Avoid it, even if you're coming from Azerbaijan.

The good bits were a comfortable mattress, clean towels, and being right in town, handy for nightlife and the beach. But I wouldn't stay longer than one night. The price doesn't fit the room or the general feel of the place, and it badly needs renovation. We were greeted arrogantly by a Russian-speaking woman, then found a worn-out room with plenty of other downsides.

The room was clean, though nothing special, and the area works well if you want to stay in Laganas. Just know that air conditioning costs an extra €5 per night, and the bathroom water tastes salty, like seawater.
