Bastas Hotel & Studios

The pool area and location were both great, and the staff were lovely and helpful. They can also take you by taxi anywhere on the island, which is handy. Our room felt dated and could use a refurb, and there was no WiFi in it. We were happy with what we paid, though. I did think the extra charges, such as for the room safe, should have been included. A great place with great staff.

We had a good stay, and the hotel is fairly priced for what you get. Housekeeping did a very good job, the pool and bar were great, and the setting was quiet. The staff were consistently friendly and ready to help. The bed was very comfortable, though the room and bathroom felt cramped for two. The place is looking old fashioned and could do with updating and new furnishings.

We’ve been coming back to Bastas for years, and it hasn’t let us down. It’s a typically Greek, family run hotel, with clean, well maintained rooms.

We paid for a holiday at Bastas hotel & studios, then out of nowhere they changed our dates. Those new dates didn’t work for us, so we had to cancel. By then prices had gone up and we had no other plans. They said they’d made a mistake and were overbooked. That’s so unprofessional. They ruined my holiday plans because they can’t manage reservations properly in the 21st century. Be careful when planning, and stay away if you don’t want the same thing to happen to you.
