For a city stay, this worked very well. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast offered a very good mix of sweet and savory food, with cold coffee available for an extra charge. I’d have liked drinking water in the room, since there’s a fridge, kettle, tea, and coffee already. It’s an older hotel, but the refurbishment has been done successfully, and it’s right in the center of Lamia.

The breakfast was great, and the rooms were large and nice. Everything was clean, and there’s free private parking right in the center.

I stayed here twice, with two weeks between visits. Both times the crew were very helpful, and breakfast had plenty of good quality choices. The rooms were huge and very clean, with large, comfortable beds. Highly recommend it for a stay in Lamia.

Hotel Athena is centrally located, making it easy to take day trips to the historic sights nearby and get a feel for the Greek countryside. We had excellent rooms and a wonderful breakfast, and the staff were excellent too. Our Greece trip wouldn’t have felt complete without staying here in Lamia.

We had a great summer holiday here with the kids, and they rated it among the best hotels of our road trip. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were polite, and the location was great. Breakfast had a wide variety of food, too. Good value for money at Hotel ATHINA.
