The pool looked bigger in the photos. I wanted to swim, but it was really too small. The beach also wasn't clean, and I found a rusty nail beside my sunbed. You have to pay for the loungers, which are old and uncomfortable, and the umbrellas weren't much use. There was no changing room, and we only found the toilet on our second day because there wasn't a sign. Breakfast was the worst part. The juice, water, and even the coffee from the machine tasted salty. Having nothing decent to drink with breakfast is outrageous, and you have to ask for eggs. The yogurt was good, though. A bottle of water costs so little, why not use clean water to fill the jug and coffee machine? It feels like saving a few cents could scare guests away. You might be better off bringing your own breakfast. The bed in our room hadn't been made, just a sheet laid over it. One night my boyfriend showered first and said the hot water worked, but when I went in afterward there was none left. I guess the other guests had used it all by then. I'm also unsure where to stay in this area. I read reviews of nearby hotels, and they didn't sound any better.

The staff were friendly every time we dealt with them. The location was alright, though the area is very touristy, and the bigger hotels nearby made it pretty noisy at night. It was quieter with the doors and windows shut. Our room was clean and had AC, but was quite basic. Breakfast was mediocre at best, so it was an average stay.

Breakfast was the big letdown. Over two weeks there was nothing new, just bread, yogurt, tomatoes, cucumbers and the same ham. I saw someone ordering breakfast, so it seems it wasn't included. We had a triple deluxe room, which was spacious, with a wide, comfortable bed and a nice terrace. The pool was nice too, and the hotel and restaurant are close to the beach, which is small but handy. The furniture felt old-fashioned and there wasn't enough space for clothes. The bathroom was basic, the bathtub tiny, and it smelled bad. The water smelled so unpleasant that I wouldn't use it for coffee. There were no mosquito nets either. Check-out is at 11:00, and extending costs extra.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and we loved having a little veranda to sit on. The pool area was fab, and the restaurant food was really nice. Greek night is a must! Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful, at any time of day or night. We had an incredible eight days here, and it went beyond what we'd hoped for. Nothing negative to say. Alan & Lee are already planning to come back as soon as we can. Thanks to everyone for making the holiday even better.

Meals were a real highlight for us. Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor, there was plenty of choice, and we looked forward to eating each day. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean too. Our room stayed spotless and well kept, and the shared areas were always tidy and inviting. From the minute we arrived, the service felt warm and attentive. Everyone on staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help. We had a fantastic stay at Armaryllis Hotel, which exceeded our expectations. We'd happily come back, and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Lardos area.
