The care in the hospitality and the way everything is kept made a real impression on me. As a wedding planner, I notice those things. Argoulias -in Tzermiadon- feels warm, quiet, authentic, and especially lovely as a winter getaway. The homemade seasonal food has plenty of local character, too. It’s the kind of place I keep thinking about after leaving, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We spent three lovely days here as a family, and it was exactly the peaceful break we wanted. The calm, genuine family atmosphere makes it easy to slow down and enjoy being together. Argoulias is tucked into the middle of the Lasithi Plateau, with beautiful views, a cozy feel, and food made with care. It stole our hearts right away. A special place for anyone wanting a quieter taste of Crete, away from the noise and mass tourism.

The owner was really friendly, and we enjoyed the view while eating. The moussaka was delicious, even though my photo only caught a little bit of it. The Greek salad was very good too, and the dessert they offered us was great as well.

I had a fun morning chatting over coffee with Pandalis, who was friendly and full of good humor. The rooms were fantastic, and the hilltop village has an incredible view across the whole Lisithi valley. It made a wonderful place to spend the night, and I can easily imagine it being a romantic spot for a couple staying a few nights.

The host was so kind, and the food was delicious, with generous portions at a good price. It’s a relaxing place with a great view of the mountains, and it’s very close to Zeus Cave, one of Creta's main attractions. A lovely spot for anyone hoping to enjoy a few restful days.
