The only snag was the internet, which didn’t always work as it should. Apart from that, I had a very pleasant stay at Pantheon Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff were warm and welcoming.

Our plans changed suddenly when my wife became seriously ill, so we couldn’t stay after all. I’m grateful to the owners for being so understanding and kind. Thank you, and we’ll definitely stay with you next time we’re in Crete.

The room was really big, with lots of useful things: a coffee maker, toaster, iron, kitchenware and a stove. We were welcomed so warmly and even offered cold water and grapes. You get a lovely view from the hill while still being close to the village. Highly recommend.

Martha, one of the owner-operators, was friendly and accommodating, and my room had a new full kitchen with the basics, handy if you want to save on eating out. Pantheon is clean, thoughtfully designed and very well kept, with commanding sea views. A gratifying find.

The rooms were roomy, clean and comfortable, and the hostess was the most helpful I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
