Apartments Kalina

Ivan was a wonderful host, and the rooms were spotless for the price. The beach is just steps away. We had such a memorable stay and would love to come back soon. Highly recommend it.

Really good value, and we’d gladly stay again. We spent six nights there, with the sea only a couple of minutes away on foot. The apartments were surprisingly clean and spacious, and the hosts were great and easy to reach.

BE CAREFUL! We asked in advance about safe parking, but when we arrived it was just public parking. He told us to park at hotel Dafni, where he went and scratched our car. I can send proof to anyone who wants to see it. He was watching people, and when he saw us going somewhere else, he acted like this. He started shouting at us in the street, and when I asked him to stop, he said he hadn’t started yet. He also yelled at a child. When he learned we didn’t want his apartment and were going to another hotel, we mentioned Dafni. He said all the apartments were the same. But the apartment was dirty, had no proper balcony, just a tiny space facing the reception. He had said the view was of another building, but hadn’t mentioned that awful balcony. Look at how defensive he gets in reviews when people criticize the hotel. A low price doesn’t give him the right to be rude or aggressive. To my Romanians and Moldovans, he said we were doing “monkey business,” booking and then not showing up, or arriving and leaving for other apartments. Of course we’d leave if he offered the worst conditions! I’m warning you all: don’t go to this hotel unless you want to go through what I did.

We loved the feel of Leptokaria, with its restaurants, bars, shops, and weekly market. Our hosts, Joanna and Ivan, were incredibly kind and helpful, so we’ve already booked to return this summer. We spent ten days here for our mini honeymoon. The beach is a couple of minutes away, and a bakery, GP surgery, pharmacy, supermarket, and more are all close by.
