Cielo

The beautiful pool, its surroundings, and the panorama are why I’m giving this place 2 stars. The accommodation itself didn’t suit me. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, so it got very hot at night. We also had to take out the previous guest’s trash on arrival. Worst of all, the fridge barely cooled and almost all our food spoiled. The host didn’t do anything to fix it, so for a week we couldn’t keep our things properly cold in the 40 degrees.

Dimitrios really impressed me, a guy off the top of his head. The property has only two apartments, one with two bedrooms and one with one, and there’s room for two families with children or even three families. Inside, the rooms and living room are spacious, the kitchen has all the facilities, and everything is comfortable and clean with great amenities. Outside, there’s a gorgeous infinity pool with a breathtaking sea view, plus an olive grove with paths to walk along. It’s a dream location, quiet and peaceful.

The view was wonderful and dreamy, and the pool was excellent, with warm water even at night. There’s parking, too. A few things need attention: the bathroom water pressure was low, the drying rack was broken and rusty, and cleaning happened only once instead of twice a week. Pool towels should be included without having to ask, and changed after three days. The water pump beside the bedroom was quite noisy. Fuel smells came in through the bathroom window, so we had to keep it shut. The solid wood entrance door was difficult to open and should be repaired.

We spent four days in Lefkada, and Cielo was what I liked most. The accommodation has incredible style and is beautiful and peaceful.
